Description

Application
Overhead power cables are designed for aerial installation, offering high mechanical strength and weather resistance for long-distance transmission lines.
Main Characteristics

National Standards:

Our Low Voltage ABC are manufactured in accordance with a range of national standards – British standard BS7870, French standard NF C33 209, Australasian standard AS/NZS 3560 Part 1, and IEC standards IEC 60502-1, TNB Specification, and HD 626 S1. They have a voltage rating of 0.6/1kV. With the insulation it also meets Class II according to IEC 61140 in protecting against electric shock. Aerial Bundle Cables have an operating temperature range of -40oC to +80oC and can be installed in temperatures as low as -20oC. These ABC are unscreened and without an additional outer sheath.

Duplex Cable:

The duplex service drop cable is a two core conductor i.e. it has two conductors; an insulated conductor for phase line and a bare conductor for neutral line. It is used for supplying a single phase power to the building.

Triplex Cable:

The Triplex service drop cable is a three core conductor. It has two insulated conductors for phase line and a bare conductor for neutral line.

Quadruplex Cable:

The Quadruplex service drop cable is a quad or four core conductors. It has 4 conductors; three of them are insulated conductors for phase lines and a bare conductor for neutral line. It is used for supplying a 3 phase power supply from the utility pole to the building.

The phase conductor is an AAC cable while the neutral conductor is available in AAC/AAAC/ACSR. The insulation used on these cables is XLPE that protects these conductors from moisture, heat etc.

High-Quality Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) for Reliable Power Distribution

APPLICATION
ALUMINIUM NF C 33-209 service bundled conductors are used for tributary networks of power buildings and their internal networks.
CHARACTERISTICS
The bundled conductor cables have aluminum conductors, insulated with XLPE, they have good durability and thermal resistance.
Some other important cable characteristics are :
Ultraviolet radiation resistance, Ozone resistance, High dielectric strength, Light and easy to handle.
INSTALLATION
The NF C 11-201 standard´s procedures determine the installation procedures for low voltage overhead lines. These cables are NOT ALLOWED to be buried, even in conduits.
MARKING Neutral :
211 NF C 33-209 211 « manufacturing number », « metric marks » ink printed. Phase 1, 2, 3 : the identification number is printed and embossed on insulation. Pilot wire n°1 : continuous white line is printed on the insulation Pilot wire n°2 : no marking
ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Rated voltage : 0.6/1 kV Test voltage :
4 kV AC Resistance to voltage surges : 1.2/50µs with a positive or negative polarity and a peak value of 20 kV.
